Research Statement
I examine neural systems involved in motivation, reward, and aversion through neuromodulation, imaging, and pharmacological methods during natural and maladaptive learning. I aim to identify specific molecular and circuit level mechanisms to facilitate development of treatment for individuals with addiction and mood related disorders.
