Research Summary
Research Statement
I am interested in understanding how cellular signaling pathways mediate biological function and development, especially within the context of endocrine disorders. My lab group is currently investigating which biochemical cues are relevant to pancreatic development through the lens of transcriptomics. These findings can then be used to improve therapies for Type 1 Diabetes, such as the production of stem-cell derived pancreatic islets.
