Dr. John Scott Receives AMSPC President’s Award for Leadership in Pharmacology

We are proud to share that our department chair, Dr. Scott, has been honored with the President’s Award for Leadership in Pharmacology from the Association of Medical School Pharmacology Chairs (AMSPC). Presented in New Orleans, the award recognizes exceptional leadership and sustained contributions to academic pharmacology. Dr. Scott is recognized for his innovative research on A-kinase anchoring proteins (AKAPs) and signal transduction, which has had a lasting impact on molecular pharmacology. This distinction reflects his enduring commitment to advancing research, education, and mentorship in the field.
